I read somewhere that these heads are good for torque and you can make some better horsepower by unshrouding the valves.

After you hog out the exhaust ports they will flow as much as the E7, then lay back the chamber wall around the intake valve, and shave the head to reduce overall chamber volume. They make pretty good low end torque but by 4000 rpms you are "sucking through a straw". I can't remember the valve sizes, I think they have 60-61 cc chambers.
