Web21 nov 2010 · YJ Brake Booster and Master Cylinder Upgrade Question Ok so I see this is going to be a broken record in a sense but this is what I am going to do unless someone says wait I have tried that and it does not work. 68 Corvette Master Cylinder and Brake Booster combo. and a ZJ Proportioning valve. Web21 gen 2024 · Next on my list of upgrades is beefing up the master cylinder on my '93 YJ to the 2000 Dodge 2500 master cylinder. Just as a little info' on WHY I'm doing this upgrade, both axles are D60's from a '79 F250, so I have the stock dual piston calipers in the front and 3/4 ton single piston (Chevy conversion) calipers in the rear.

Web27 ago 2007 · OK, that most likey is correct, I also believe it takes a different MC, so the E350 MC will not fit the dual diaphragm 1995 YJ booster. As I recall the YJ single diaphragm booster was good for 1000 lbs of pressure, the YJ dual was good for 1600 lbs of pressure, making it the best choice. Bit the bullet and upgraded to Hydro boost. It's like night and day. Have a look here.
