WebCryptococcal meningitis is an infrequent primary presentation of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). We report the case of a 33-year-old man with previously undiagnosed AIDS who presented with gait disturbance, acute blindness, and rapidly fatal neurologic deterioration.
